Back in July, Lancôme Paris held an extravagant ceremony in Paris, France during Paris Fashion Week announcing the big upcoming launch of their brand new perfume fragrance "Idôle", while simultaneously announcing Zendaya's first major role with the company as their new Global Brand Ambassadress fronting the ad campaign for the brand new perfume fragrance.
"Idôle" by Lancôme which is being targeted towards Millenials is being touted by Lancome President Francoise Lehmann as the "Fragrance Of The New Generation" by tapping Zendaya as the muse for the perfume due o her incredibly vast popularity, rising fashion profile, social media presence, and positive influence with the younger generation. The brand message for the new perfume is that of "Women Empowerment" as this Fragrance was created by three female perfumers: Shyamala Maisondieu, Adriana Medina, and Nadège Le Garlantezec.
As for the perfume's scent, the perfume itself is sustainably sourced with floral essence scents ranging from the Centifolia Rose grown from France, Jasmine Grandiflorum from India, and the Isparta Rose Petal from Turkey exclusively for Lancôme. Along with the floral scents, there are notes of fruit scents including the Citrus of Bergamot, and Pear. The delicate airy feel to the fragrance can also be attributed to the Clean Chypre accord which is a combination of musks, patchouli, cedarwood oil, vanilla, and fresh Bergamot.
As for the innovative bottle design, which was designed by famed architect Chafik Gasmi, is the world's thinnest perfume bottle with a width thickness of just 15mm. The bottle design is also very sleek, and similar in size to a smartphone device, particularly the Apple iPhone, which is accentuated with metal paneled rose gold hardware to complement the Rosè hue of the perfume liquid. Due to its width, the bottle requires a stand to sit upright, they also come with a limited edition protective case.
