Here's A Step By Step Guide On How To Get Zendaya's 2020 Emmy’s Hair!

  

When Zendaya made history at the 2020 Emmys by becoming the youngest actress to nab the Emmy for the "Oustanding Lead Actress In A Drama Series" for her role as "Rue Bennett" on HBO's "Euphoria" she served us not one but two glam looks straight from home for the virtual ceremony. Two looks called for two completely different hairstyles the first one being the Christopher John Rogers Fall 2020 RTW Moirè Silk Pattern Strawberry Dress for which Zendaya sported a very sleek low knot bun to let the dress have it's own moment, to her second custom Armani Prive look which called for a 60's era Bridgett Bardot inspired updo, so how did Larry Sims achieve both looks??? Here is how.

For both looks, Larry used products from the haircare line Flawless By Gabrielle Union, which is the brainchild of himself and his other Celebrity client Actress Gabrielle Union. The great thing about this line is that these products are affordable as they retail for $9-$20 and can be found at your local Target or Sally’s Beauty Supply. For Zendaya's sleek low knot bun, he first used the Detangling Leave-In Conditioner and Flawless Shine Heat Protection Spray followed by Flawless Smoothing Blow Dry Cream, Flawless Restoring Exotic Oil Drops Treatment, and the key item which is the new  Flawless Repairing Edge Control(that is coming soon) to secure the damp hair into place.

For the Bardot inspired blow out, Sims removed dampness from Zendaya's hair by first using the blowdryer, followed by rounding her hair with a brush starting at the nape of the neck and securing each section into rollers to secure definition and volume. After removing the rollers, Sims secured a ponytail to the crown of Zendaya's head and backcombed the ponytail to add more volume while keeping it loose.
